This policy explains what data LinkKitHub collects, why, and how you can control it. It applies to creators who use LinkKitHub, and to visitors who interact with a creator's public bio page, bookings, or Instagram automation.
LinkKitHub ("we", "us", "our") is a creator monetization platform that provides a link-in-bio page, digital product storefront, booking system, and Instagram automation tools. This policy covers data collected through linkkithub.com, our dashboard, our public creator bio pages, and our API.
From creators (account holders):
From visitors to a creator's public bio page:
We rely on the following providers to run LinkKitHub. Each only receives the data needed to perform its function:
Data we receive from Instagram (comments, DM sender IDs, message text) is used solely to run the automation a creator has configured — matching keywords, sending a reply, and tracking whether a follow-gate step was completed. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it outside what's needed to deliver the automation. This use complies with Meta's Platform Terms.
We use browser local storage to keep you logged in to the dashboard (storing your user ID, username, and a signed session token on your device) and to remember an anonymous visitor ID for the AI chatbot, so it can recall earlier messages in a conversation. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
If you delete your LinkKitHub account, it enters a 30-day grace period during which logging back in cancels the deletion. If you do not return within 30 days, your account and associated data (links, products, leads, bookings, and automation history) are permanently and automatically purged from our systems.
For step-by-step instructions — including how to remove only your Instagram data while keeping your account — see our Data Deletion page.
Passwords are stored as secure hashes. Access tokens and API secrets are stored as encrypted environment variables, never in our source code. Admin-level operations require a separate secret key. We use HTTPS across the platform.
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time from your Profile settings, or by deleting your account. If you're a visitor who contacted a creator through LinkKitHub and want your data removed, contact us and we'll help route your request.
LinkKitHub is intended for users who are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
LinkKitHub is operated from India. If you use LinkKitHub from outside India, your information may be processed in India and other countries where our service providers operate.
We may update this policy as LinkKitHub evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of LinkKitHub after a change means you accept the updated policy.
